Richard Newell Associates specialise in the provision of expert advice on the monitoring and mitigation of potential environmental impacts associated with infrastructure projects in coastal waters. This is based on over 35 years experience with major projects both in the UK and overseas, including wind-farms, discharges from the chemical industry and the marine aggregates industry.
We are specialists in environmental impact assessment for major infrastructure projects in the marine environment including impacts of dredging, port construction, fisheries and the off-shore renewable sector.
Our main speciality is advice on Environmental Impact Assessment of biological resources in coastal waters and near-shore environments.
This includes assessment of living resources of conservation and economic significance, advice on compensation and mitigation, and provision of management options. We are able to provide advice on seabed resources, shellfish and near-shore fisheries and estuarine habitat restoration.
Richard Newell Associates is committed to provision of independent advice and information of the highest scientific quality as a necessary part of our own work and in the best interests of our clients.
